This exhibition, the most comprehensive Earth sciences complex of its kind, includes a dazzling array of gems, crystals and minerals. The Hope Diamond, the largest-known blue diamond and the most-sought-after Museum object in the world, is on permanent display here.

The exhibition also contains 2,500 minerals and gems; a re-creation of four mines; and a large gallery focusing on plate tectonics, earthquakes, volcanoes, and meteorites.

Standing receptions in the entire exhibition can accommodate up to 300 guests. The wood-paneled Harry Winston Gallery, home of the Hope Diamond, holds up to 50 guests for a seated dinner.
