No, I have no fear of that. In fact, I would really like that to happen because I don't believe that the giant squid are so strong and powerful that they would endanger the sub in any way. And that certainly would be a great way to find out how these animals behave, what they look like in their natural habitat. And of course, with the cameras and videos always rolling, I believe that would make some very spectacular footage. But more importantly, it would provide many answers to the many, many questions we have about giant squid. About what they look like, and how they swim, and possibly how they capture their prey, or how they would attack, and how their suction cups work, and how their beaks work. So, if we had the opportunity to have a giant squid come along and check out the submersible, I think that would be very exciting. |
