Tarantula: A Hunter
Most tarantulas are active at night and have poor eyesight. Therefore, they
must rely on their sense of touch to catch prey. Tarantulas feed on arthropods,
mice, frogs, and lizards. Other spiders use a variety of prey-nabbing strategies:
Some spiders spin webs, while jumping spiders rely on their good eyesight to
find food.
