Conservation Status: Endangered.


Thomas’ Big-toothed Deermice live even higher in mountain forests than the very similar Megadontomys nelsoni. All big-toothed deermice are ground-dwellers. Pregnant females have been found carrying 2 or 3 embryos, but there is very little information about reproduction.
