Brown Tent-making Bat

Conservation Status: Least Concern.


Five of these bats were found roosting together in a tent made of a big palm leaf, and several were dusted with pollen when they were caught, but even the most basic details of their lives are still unknown. Bats in the genus Uroderma are medium-sized, broad-shouldered, have big eyes, and lack tails.
