LOCATION: Karluk (Kallut), Kodiak Island, 1879-1882

DIMENSIONS: 15 cm high.

DESCRIPTION:
Alutiiq craftsmen made serving spoons from the horns of mountain goats. They softened the horns with steam, then bent and carved the bowls into shape.
