LOCATION: Ugashik (Uggásaq), Alaska Peninsula, 1883

DIMENSIONS: 21 cm long.

DESCRIPTION:
Knifes with curved steel blades are used for carving. The handle of this 19th century knife is a caribou rib and the lashing is made from spruce tree root.
