Kakangat / Tossing disks. Kakangaq was a traditional game. The players threw disks of wood or ivory toward a target on a seal skin. Other players tried to land their disks on the target, or to knock someone else’s out of the way. They counted score by the positions of the disks. Good hunters were careful not to play in the evenings, because it might bring bad luck.
