Ermine Cap - More Info - Where From

This hat was “worn by young men at dances and festivals,” according to William Fisher. It is made from whole winter skins of ermine. The ermine heads have black beads for eyes, and wear nose ornaments and necklaces. The bottom band is red cloth with beaded designs.
