Benefactors’ Circle $1,000 to $2,499
Sustainers’ Circle $2,500 to $4,999

Benefactors’ Circle

For an annual contribution of $1,000 to $2,499, you will receive:

  • Exclusive access to intimate Museum Director’s Discovery events led by exhibition curators and scientists. Each event includes a Director’s Reception. Past events included a guided tour of the Mummy Room and a detailed examination and explanation of Audubon’s Birds of America.
  • Invitation to one exclusive Museum event.
  • An annual subscription to Smithsonian magazine.
  • Acknowledgement in the Museum’s annual report.
  • Recognition in the Museum during the membership year.
  • A subscription to the Museum’s bi-monthly e-newsletter, which features articles on current exhibitions and events.
  • 20% discount in Natural History Museum shops.
  • A complimentary Museum guide.

Sustainers’ Circle

For an annual contribution of $2,500 to $4,999, you will receive:

  • All benefits listed above.
  • Invitation to two exclusive Museum events.
  • An invitation to an exclusive luncheon with a distinguished scientist.
  • Opportunity to purchase 5 gift Charter Memberships at 50% discount; each with recognition in the Museum.

Director’s Circle

For an annual contribution of $5,000 or more, you will receive:

  • All benefits listed above.
  • Invitation to exclusive Museum events and all exhibition opening receptions.
  • One specially arranged private tour for members and up to ten guests of the exhibition of your choice led by one of the Museum’s world-renowned scientists or curators.
  • An invitation to a private social function with Museum leadership.
  • Opportunity to purchase 5 additional gift Charter Memberships at 50% discount; each with recognition in the Museum.
  • Membership in the Smithsonian’s Resident Associate Program, which offers a wide array of educational opportunities for participants.
