“A student workshop on macro photography at the 2006 NANPA conference provided the opportunity for me to photograph this cyclamen. First, I used a tripod and a macro lens to get a close-up of the flower without drops. Then I applied glycerin drops to add interest and improve the composition. I knew I had something special when I shot this one.”
