FOOTPRINTS IN SAND

“The greatest challenge was replicating what my eye saw. I used a tripod, got down low in the sand, and waited for someone to walk past me. I used a slow shutter speed to show the motion of the wave, and set the camera to its smallest aperture for greatest depth of field. What I find most significant about this image is that it illustrates how the effects of man, while seemingly great, are insignificant when compared to the forces of nature.”
Konica Minolta DiMAGE 7Hi; 20 secs at f/8; tripod.
