Discovery Room
The Discovery Room is a unique educational facility for families and students. Located on the first floor of the Natural History Museum, the room features activities using real Museum objects and interactive, hands-on experiences that allow visitors to explore the natural world at their own pace, guided by their own interests and sense of wonder.

Naturalist Center
The Naturalist Center in Loudoun County, Virginia, invites visitors ages 10 and older to use its hands-on collection of 36,000 natural history objects, 6,500 books, and scientific equipment. Identify natural objects and curiosities, work on school projects, or just browse. The center offers a full range of services, special events, and school programs for middle school, high school and beyond.
