The Cephalopod Bibliography is available from SIRIS via the World-Wide Web. Point your browser to www.siris.si.edu. From the introductory page, select "Search" under "Specialized Bibliographies". From the "Search" screen you will be able to access records in the Cephalopod Bibliographic Catalog.
The Cephalopod Bibliographic Catalog describes publications (books, journal articles, etc.) about Recent cephalopods and cephalopod related subjects (predators, prey, etc.). This bibliography comprises about 4500 publications located at the Division of Mollusks, NMNH. At present, the entries concentrate primarily on works in English or those with an English summary. Future additions to this catalog will include foreign language publications. No attempt has been made for comprehensive coverage of cephalopod publications on fossils or neurophysiology. SIRIS has a powerful search capability, the use of which is explained in a series of accessible help screens.
As this catalog is an active project we solicit comments from users on corrections and additions to bibliographic entries. Reprints of publications not listed in this catalog are requested to be sent to the address below.
