William J. Fisher Collection

The Fisher collection will be featured in the forthcoming exhibition Looking Both Ways: Heritage and Identity of the Alutiiq People. The exhibition is being researched and planned at the Arctic Studies Center in Anchorage, in partnership with the Alutiiq Museum in Kodiak.

Contributors include the National Endowment for the Humanities, Alaska Humanities Forum, Koniag, Inc., the Bristol Bay Native Corporation, Afognak Native Corporation, Bristol Bay Native Association, Anchorage Museum of History and Art, ARCO Foundation, Era Aviation, and the Chugach School District.
