REMARKS:
This beaded cap is a man's nacaq from Tangirnaq (Woody Island, Kodiak), and lacks the long train of beads that hung down from the back of headdresses worn by women (see 72472). This cap is sewn with beige cotton thread and braided sinew on a soft caribou skin frame.
