Activities in Four Seasons

Just like the real Seeds of Change Garden, your own garden and community can be explored year-round!

IN THIS SECTION
For each season of the year, you'll find some great activities to explore, and the resources to complete them. These activities are designed so that you begin planning your Seeds of Change Garden in the fall, continue through the year, and finish up the following fall, so if this is your first visit, you will want to begin with the fall section.

If this is your first visit to this section, you should take a look at the Parent/Teacher Overview for some initial notes and advice on creating and developing an educational garden. Also available is a page of Seed Ordering Information, which allows you to order the seeds that are mentioned in these activities if you cannot find them locally.

There are many children's books and adult books to help you with basic garden maintenance tips. Local extension services, gardening clubs, and gardening centers will also be eager to help you. You may even want to enlist a Parent Garden Committee to advise you.
