Create a Rain Guage
You can create a simple rain gauge with a wide-mouthed glass jar placed on a
level patch of ground in the garden or on an exposed window sill. With a ruler,
measure the depth of water in the jar after every rain. Record the amount of
water. Empty the jar after each measurement.
