This plaque depicts Joseph (far left), Mary, and Jesus (right) as Yoruba and the shepherds (center) as Hausa, Fulani, and Igbo, neighboring ethnic groups. Part of a series illustrating the life of Christ, it was commissioned by an American Lutheran church.
