Translation
This building was renovated,
[both] its fort and its water tank,
during the reign of our master al- Sultan
Abdulmajeed.
God gave him victory,
support and days of happiness.

As-Sayed Ahmad Agha al-Yousef
Kilar Amini al-Mufakham [honored] in the month of Muharram 1266 AH [=1849 AD]

This building was renovated, [both] its fort and its water tank, during the reign of our master al- Sultan Abdulmajeed.  God gave him victory, support and days of happiness.
